To ensure color accuracy and rich blacks, they are coated with NiSi Optical Nano Coating and IR coating on both surfaces. The filters are made from a single piece of optical glass and feature dual-sided Nano coating technology for infrared light control. They are scratch, oil, and water-resistant, with an anti-reflective coating for superior color control and reduced glare.
NiSi Cinema 4×5.65 ND Filter Range fits standard matte boxes and has a 4mm thickness, suitable for filter cages or cageless designs. A leatherette pouch is included for storage, and a larger filter case is available for organizing multiple filters.
Additionally, the NiSi Cinema 4×5.65″ Pure Clear Filter offers lens protection without affecting image quality. It guards against dust, scratches, and moisture. The NiSi Cinema Filter Pouch for 4×4″ and 4×5.65″ filters can hold up to 7 cinema filters, protecting them from scratches and dust. Its flip-top design keeps it open during use. The filter’s design is tailored for digital sensors, ensuring minimal attenuation of visible and infrared light. Digital sensors are more sensitive to infrared, leading to potential color casts in low-light situations. To counteract this and achieve neutrality across both visible and infrared spectra, the NiSi 4×5.65″ Nano IRND 0.6 Filter is coated with a layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating on each surface.
