Sony BP-U70 is a high-performance lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 72Wh. It is specifically designed for use with select Sony professional video cameras, including the FS7 (see below). The battery is capable of communicating status data to the camera, and the remaining capacity can be viewed on the camera’s viewfinder. When paired with the optional BC-U1A/U2A charger, this battery can be recharged in approximately 150 minutes. A 4-LED gauge on the battery displays the remaining capacity in 20, 40, 60, and 80% increments.
