Budget Camera is a camera rental house and production studio serving filmmakers, photographers, content creators, and production teams across Ontario and Canada. We are looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing and creative direction as we continue to grow.

About the Role

The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of Budget Camera's marketing strategy across digital, social media, advertising, content, partnerships, and brand communications.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically but also knows how to execute. You will be responsible for turning marketing ideas into campaigns that increase brand awareness, attract new customers, drive rentals and services, and strengthen customer retention. You'll have the opportunity to build campaigns, test new ideas, develop partnerships, create content, analyze results, and establish marketing systems that contribute directly to Company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Budget Camera's overall marketing and creative strategy.
• Lead digital marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, email, and other relevant channels.
• Develop campaigns that promote company products’ services and other offerings.
• Lead the creation of social media content, advertising creative, email campaigns, landing pages, and promotional materials.
• Develop marketing campaigns around seasonal promotions, industry events, film festivals, workshops, and new product/service launches.
• Identify opportunities to reach new customer segments
• Develop partnerships and promotional opportunities with schools, production companies, creators, and industry organizations.
• Monitor campaign performance and use data to improve marketing results.
• Work closely with operations, sales, and management to ensure marketing campaigns align with business objectives.

Candidates must have:

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and paid advertising.
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
• Strong creative and content development skills.
• Experience developing and managing marketing campaigns from concept through execution.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use marketing data to make decisions.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in the film, photography, creative, technology, or production industry is an asset.
• A strong understanding of visual storytelling and creative content is highly valued.

Benefits:

• Salary: $25,000 - $45,000 per year.
