The head also includes an Arca-type-compatible quick-release plate and a cut notch on the side for placing your camera at a 90° angle. Supporting point-and-shoot, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras up to 13.2 lb, this tripod’s aluminum legs consist of four sections with flip locks that extend along with the rapid center column to a maximum height of 62.5″. With splayed legs that offer three variable angles and independent leg spread, shooting on uneven terrain is a breeze, and the center column is reversible to achieve a closer-to-the-ground shot. Folding in the reverse to a compact 18.2″, this tripod is travel-friendly, and rubber feet keep it securely in place on smooth surfaces.
